April Reading Ladder-2018

In order from favorites to least favorite

  1.  The Hobbit- J.R.R Tolkien (pg 137/ 365)

https://www.bookdepository.com/Hobbit-J-R-R-Tolkien/9780006754022

Rating: ★★★ (3 stars, so far it’s alright)

The book has so far gotten at least a bit more suspenseful but not enough for me to really be into it, or read it, especially since I know what is going to happen. So far Bilbo has finally gained the ring, and defeated Golum and has gotten a bit more respect with the company. But I feel like there is still an extremely large disparity between Bilbo and the dwarves though they have traveled together and have been in various amounts of peril together.

2. Pilgrim- Timothy Findley (pg 36/ 534)

Rating: ★★★ (3 stars, so far it’s alright)

I have not gotten far in the book, but so far I’ll admit it’s not very interesting, though it has its mysteries, that continue to pile up in almost every chapter. I don’t consistently read this book, but I hope to get through a lot more of it this March.

Math: I am really disappointed in myself, I thought I was getting better at reading books at least like every month, but I just can’t finish reading anything. I hope to at least finish Pilgrim at some point this year at least.

137 + 36 = 173/ 4 = 43.25

137 + 36 = 173/ 30 = 5.76
