October Reading Ladder-2016

Title: Magnus Chase and the Hammer of Thor

Author: Rick Riordan

Pages: 480

I though this book was very fast but also nicely paced. It picked up nicely from the previous book and I loved the characters I am so glad I got to see more of Samara and her relationship with her fiance. Rick Rordians book is very diverse with characters like Hearthstone the deaf elf and Blitzen the very fashionable dwarf. Rick introduced a new character called Alex Ferrio and she/he (whatever day it is) is amazing and so bad ass I would love to see more of her. I liked Magnus’s character development and I liked the ending that hinted at Percy coming in and there was Annabeth Chase there as well I also liked that Loki got free cause it showed that even Magnus and his awesome sword can fail at times, even though it wasn’t really they’re fault but more the gods fault.

For this book it didn’t take me long to read I read it in two days so 240 pages a day.
