I’m finally done with Greeks after this though I’m not to happy with level of reading I’ve been doing because I feel like if I find the right book or finally start reading the right thing that is good for my grade level I might be able to actually get back into reading a lot more.
Tittle: The Theban Plays
Author: Sophocles
Pages: 168
Rating: ★★★ (three stars) Eh OK
This was a bit hard to follow because the whole reading was in play form and through out the whole thing I was just thinking about how it would look if it was an actual play and how i would understand everything better if there were actors and people to act out the whole thing in front of me.
Tittle: Medea
Author: Euripides
Pages: 47
Rating: ★★ (bad)
The whole thing is a play about killing a lady using her own children to do it and then killing the kids herself, I just spoiled it but like i hope you don’t read this in the first place because at first I thought it would be like one of those Hamlet things but without murder, but it was a Hamlet with as much murder as possible, I really hate Medea. I mean like sure she has this whole delima and she is just like debating over herself what to do and she is really an unhappy woman but like really?
Tittle: Mythology Timeless Tales of Gods and Heroes
Author: Edith Hamilton
Pages: 330
Rating: ★★★★ (4 stars) Really good
I liked this one a lot better, this made me think I was way under my reading level but some of the stories were really awesome to read, it got me thinking a lot about the mythology and stuff and why people would make up these kinds of stories in the first place.
